Delete your TaskPilot account and data
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to khappscollection@gmail.com with the subject TaskPilot account deletion request.
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to TaskPilot, so we can confirm the account is yours. If you sign in with Google, use that Google address.
- We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your sign-in account (email, password or Google link) and your profile (name and profile picture link).
- Your membership in every workspace, and the email address stored for you under each workspace.
- Your in-app notifications, notification preferences and the device token used to send notifications to your phone.
- Workspaces you own, if you ask us to delete them, along with their projects, tasks, comments and settings.
What may remain
- Content in workspaces you do not own. Tasks and comments you wrote in a teammate’s workspace belong to that workspace. On request we remove them or replace your name with “Deleted user”.
- Anonymous crash reports. Crash diagnostics are not linked to your identity and are removed automatically by Firebase Crashlytics after their retention period.
- Backups. Deleted data may persist in Google Cloud backups for a short period before it is purged.
- Your Google Drive and Google Calendar. Files TaskPilot uploaded to your Drive and calendar events it created live in your own Google account and are not deleted by us. Delete them in Google Drive and Google Calendar yourself.
Before you ask
You can also remove data without deleting your account: delete individual tasks, comments and workspaces inside the app. To stop TaskPilot accessing your Google account, remove it at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Deletion cannot be undone. If you own a workspace with teammates, tell us whether to delete it or transfer ownership.
